1. Who we are

The Butterfly Social Suite is operated by Butterfly Foundation & Agency (BFA), a digital advertising and web-services agency, under the legal entity BUTAL, LLC (registered in Florida, United States), with an operating office in Sultan Muzaffar, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. In this policy, “BFA,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to this organisation, and “you” refers to the person or business using our services.

We are the data controller for information processed through our own platforms. When you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp Business asset that belongs to your own clients, you act as the controller for that data and we act as a processor on your behalf.

2. What this policy covers

7. Storage & security

Data is stored on servers we control, protected behind Cloudflare and secured with encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to perform the actions you request. Access to systems is limited to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect an account or delete your data, we remove the associated tokens and personal data as described in the Data Deletion section, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can disconnect any connected account at any time from your app settings or from your Facebook settings. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.

10. Deleting your data

You can request full deletion of your data at any time. Step-by-step instructions are on our dedicated Data Deletion page, which also serves as our data deletion callback for Meta.
